Ann Lee was born in Jamaica, and since lived in many different places throughout the world.  The universal truth she learned from her travels is that everyone, everywhere wants the same thing: to be happy and feel good in their bodies.  Ann came from a family of dieters, and as a teenager, I became self-conscious of her weight and was plagued by eating disorders. By her late 20s, she started turning things around, viewing exercise as something that could benefit her body and spirit, and address the feelings behind the eating disorders.

Ann became interested in yoga and body rolling and is now a Yamuna® Body Rolling and Foot Fitness instructor in Asheville.  She offers clients a means of self-care and self-maintenance to keep them injury free and performing at their personal best, from their feet through their entire body.  Ann has intentionally chosen wellness and joy as a state of being.  Every decision in her life is now based on asking herself, “Does this feel good?”   Whether it’s a friendship, a meal, or a physical activity, happiness requires effort, choice, and embodying a positive energy level.  Every day, she chooses joy and she looks forward to sharing it with others!

I hope you enjoy this one one-hour episode of Living Well where Ann shares how we can feel good in our bodies and lives!
