Free Range Asheville provides a platform for research and discourse where local, national, and international artists can engage and collaborate in performance and laboratory settings with other artists and organizations. The driving force behind the organization’s vision is to create access points to culture that cross disciplines, traditions, and genres for people of all ages and economic backgrounds. Free Range Asheville is a nimble organization that offers programs in a variety of settings ranging from under-utilized commercial spaces, traditional performance venues, and natural environments throughout the Western North Carolina region.

Please join Free Range Asheville on Tuesday February 23, 7pm at the Diana Wortham Theatre for their kick-off event featuring the New York City based, forty two piece, orchestral collective ‘The Knights’. The Knights ignite the concert experience by engaging listeners and defying boundaries with adventurous performances that showcase their expansive repertoire rooted in the classical tradition and passion for artistic innovation. They are also serious about having fun. The Asheville program will include works by Beethoven, Sufjan Stevens, and João Gilberto. Proceeds from the evening will support Free Range Asheville in bringing future cultural events to Asheville.  Tickets are on sale for $10, limited VIP tickets are $30 and will include priority seating and a Free Range Survival Kit.
