Geri Littlejohn- Native American Flute Maker

IMG_0757

Geri LittleJohn has been a flute maker for 23 years, a journey that began when she met Hawk LittleJohn, a flute maker, while at Duke University, considered one of America’s greatest contemporary Native American flute makers.  Not long after, she was encouraged to share her gift of playing the flute which took her to lots of places such as nursing homes, memorial services, births, weddings, deathbeds, yoga studios and local festivals.  When playing the Native Flute, there is an invitation to the center, to release and to receive, and to integrate.  Geri’s hope is that listeners leave feeling lighter, more loving, more connected, nourished, awake and aware.  Geri has one solo CD, “One Thursday Morning in June.”

Enjoy this wonderful, heartfelt Living Well show with Geri Littlejohn who speaks of the transformational power of the Native American flute and plays three songs live in the AFM studio.
